Crypto Price Today: Bitcoin rises above $27,000 ahead of Fed decision on rates
BNB, Dogecoin, and Litecoin were trading with cuts. Bitcoin (BTC) rose 0.92% to $27,044, whereas Ethereum (ETH) was above the 1,600 level. Meanwhile, the global cryptocurrency market cap was trading higher, around $1.07 trillion, rising 0.62% in the last 24 hours. «Bitcoin's price has surged beyond the $27,000 threshold, and this upward trajectory could likely be attributed to Nomura, one of Japan's leading investment banks, unveiling a Bitcoin-based fund designed for institutional investors,» said Edul Patel, CEO & Co-founder of Mudrex. Market sentiment currently varies from neutral to bullish as market participants await the Federal Reserve's FOMC decision regarding interest rates, set to be announced later today, Edul said.

Neelkanth Mishra on link between market and government’s commitments towards road, defence & railways
Neelkanth Mishra, Chief Economist, Axis Bank; Head of Global Research, Axis Capital, says coming to “investment themes, I am observing that because everyone wants to invest in defence and railways, there is a very steady rise in price-to-earnings multiples without an appropriate visibility on what is happening with their own order books. Will they be able to participate in this? Will they be able to compete in this? Even on something like electronics, there is a very good probability that India's electronics ecosystem will continue to grow.”Capex seems to be focused around infrastructure development. Road has been a resounding success. Now it is tilting towards defence and railways. While the shift is happening, equity markets have been mighty excited. We know about the rally in defence, railway and shipbuilding stocks. What is the right way of understanding these government commitments towards shipbuilding, road, defence, railways? Can you connect the equity market outlook? The central government can control these sectors directly. National highways, railways, defence are central subjects and this is where the central government can play a big role. On the road side, it is unreasonable to expect that if you are already doing 15,000-16,000 km a year, you will be able to do much more than 18,000-20,000 km a year. So incremental growth in terms of the pace of construction at the national highway level may not really accelerate from here.

Asian Games football: China thrashes under-prepared and jaded India 5-1
Asian Games football competition here on Tuesday.Giao Tianyi (17th min), Dai Weijun (51st min), Tao Qianglong (72nd and 75th minute) and Hao Fang (90+2) scored for the hosts, while Rahul KP's (45+1 minute) equaliser from an acute angle was possibly the best strike of the match. It was heartening to see a third-string team holding the title contenders on an even keel during the first 45 minutes, which saw Indian custodian Gurmeet Singh Chahal valiantly save a spot-kick taken by rival captain Zhu Chenjie. India now need to beat Bangladesh and Myanmar in their remaining two games to qualify for the second round. Myanmar beat Bangladesh 4-2 in another game in this group. Having reached the Games Village late on Monday evening, the third-string Indian team, with not even four specialist defenders in their ranks, didn't have enough co-ordination amongst themselves. They looked jet-lagged, not rested enough and there was no way that there could have been a miracle.

View: Businesses need to prioritise customer care for a better tomorrow
'Just like we've shifted from carbon credit to green credit, can we also change this pattern… instead of celebrating the consumer rights day worldwide out of compulsion, can we take the leadership in talking about consumer care day,' he said. 'Once we start celebrating consumer care day, you will see the change in the environment with big positive signals.' Modi's speech is timely, given the growing concerns about the impact of businesses on consumers and the environment.
