LeBron James has announced that he will be changing his jersey number once again. The Los Angeles Lakers star will be returning to No. 23, the number he wore during his first three seasons with the team. His agent, Rich Paul, confirmed the decision, stating that it was LeBron's choice. The NBA had previously announced last August that it would retire the No. 6 league-wide to honor Bill Russell, the renowned Boston Celtics legend and civil rights advocate who won 11 NBA championships. However, players who were already wearing No. 6, including LeBron James, were allowed to continue doing so.
