Nikhil Gupta, who is suspected by the US of involvement in an unsuccessful plot to kill Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun on American soil, has been extradited from the Czech Republic, media reports said on Sunday. Gupta, aged 52, was apprehended in the Czech Republic last year following a request from the US government. He faces charges related to a conspiracy to assassinate Sikh separatist leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Gupta is scheduled to appear before a federal court in New York on Monday. Currently, Gupta is held at the federal Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, where he is recorded as an inmate. His extradition was initially reported by The Washington Post

Lawrence Bishnoi gang was arrested by the Mumbai Police in connection with its probe into the firing incident at Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence. According to officials, the accused, identified as Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar from Bundi, allegedly uploaded a video on his YouTube channel where he said, «Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and other gang members are with me and I am going to kill Salman Khan as he did not apologise yet.» According to the police, an offence was registered at South Cyber Police Station vide under sections 506(2), 504, 34 of the IPC and section 66(d) of the Information Technology (IT) Act against an individual who, through a YouTube video on the channel named «Are Chhodo Yar,» discussed the Bishnoi Gang and mentioned plans to kill Khan.

Delhi High Court on Saturday ordered to take down all videos or audios of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s personal address to the court from all social media platforms. Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company Ltd (GIFTCL) has received the highest bid of Rs 6,557 per sq ft totalling over Rs 342 crore for development rights of a proposed residential project in the special economic zone (SEZ) of GIFT City. Ahmedabad-based Nila Spaces has outbid 10 other bidders to emerge as the highest bidder with its record of Rs 6,557 per sq ft for development of 5.22 lakh sq ft on a 1.37-acre plot. The bids were opened on Friday evening. This is the highest-ever price being paid for development rights in GIFT City. Prior to this, development rights here had attracted the highest bid of Rs 4,355 per sq ft for a hotel project in March and Rs 3,870 per sq ft for a residential project in February.

Pakistan, the government has slashed the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 10.20 and Rs 2.33 per litre respectively ahead of the Eid ul Adha festival. The price cut, effective from Saturday, will bring the price of petrol to Rs 258.16 per litre while the price of HSD will be Rs 267.89 per litre, The Express Tribune newspaper quoted a statement from the Prime Minister's Office on Friday. The Finance Division, which usually reviews the fuel prices every 15 days, issued an official notification for the latest price cuts and said the new prices would be applicable for the next fortnight.
