Beetlejuice 2, the film not only has Winona Ryder reprising her role from the original, but also stars Wednesday famed Jenna Ortega as her daughter. Director Tim Burton, who has helmed both films, is also the director of Netflix series Wednesday. The filming of Beetlejuice 2 has already begun in Hertfordshire in the UK. People magazine has got some exclusive pictures of the sets, where Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder were spotted shooting for a wedding scene. On the sets, Jenna Ortega was seen in a tulle white gown, while Winona Ryder was seen in her character’s signature gothic black head-to-toe. Winona, who reprises her role as Lydia Deetz, also sported the character’s well-known hairstyle with spikey bangs. Actor Michael Keaton is also reprising his role as Beetlejuice. The other actors in the original Beetlejuice were Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones and Glenn Shadix. Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis will not be reprising their roles, as they played ghosts and cannot be shown ageing. Catherine O'Hara will reprise her role as the stepmother of Winona Ryder’s character Lydia. Beetlejuice the original shows a spirit who comes to the rescue of a dead couple who want a family living in their mortal home to leave.
