Crypto analyst Bluntz (@SmartContracter) predicted Bitcoin will trade sideways in a range bound environment for 12 more months - so far, he's been accurate.

Bitcoin’s whale ratio is now up, on-chain data has revealed, while market leverage has stayed at historically high levels. Investors in BTC are currently engaging in some high-risk trading in the Futures market, according to CoinSignal365 on CryptoQuant.

The cryptocurrency market was slightly bearish during the early European session, with the global crypto market cap falling from $944 billion to $936 billion. Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, is still trading near $19,349.19, down 0.88% so far. Similarly, Ethereum is trading sideways, with a price range of $1,325 to $1,298.

 

Early on October 10, major cryptocurrencies were trading in the negative, with the global crypto market cap standing at $944 billion, down 1.04 percent from the previous day. The entire cryptocurrency market volume in the last 24 hours is $31.85 billion, a 37.51% fall.

Crypto tokens were back in the red during the early hours on Friday ahead of the US Jobs data. The macroeconomic fears are quite evident in the riskier asset class.Bitcoin, after breaching $20,000 levels, was back above the key psychological levels. Ethereum was also holding $1,350 levels, whereas altcoins dropped. Barring the US dollar-pegged Tether, Tron and Uniswap, all other crypto tokens were trading lower on Friday. BNB dropped 4 per cent, followed by a 3 per cent fall in Shiba Inu. Dogecoin, Solana and Bitcoin shed 2 per cent each. The global cryptocurrency market cap was trading lower at $958.92 billion, dropping more than a per cent in the last 24 hours. However, the total trading volume dropped more than 7 per cent to $55.56 billion.

The current market situation remains primarily determined by Bitcoin [BTC] short-term holders. These holders were “jostling for the best entry price, and what little profit is available to take.” But now the situation might be a different one. Positive narratives may soon be emerging from the largest coin as it shows a will to survive after all.
