The nonfungible token (NFT) marketplace for American video game retailer GameStop has officially gone live on Ethereum (ETH) layer 2 blockchain ImmutableX, all part of the latest Web3 push from the gaming retailer. 

Cardano price forecast appears to be shifting from bullish to bearish, particularly below the 50-day moving average line at $0.4225. Earlier, ADA recovered above the $0.3365 level and moved toward the $0.4315 target, but failed to break above this, implying a bearish correction.

Cardano (ADA) price predictions have been mostly positive lately, as the token started seeing an encouraging increase in value over the past several days after a month-and-a-half-long, continuous price drop. Since then, its price has been on the rise throughout the weekend, and things did not change much on Monday, October 24th.

Charles Hoskinson, co-founder of Ethereum (ETH) and co-founder of Cardano (ADA), stated that certain members of the XRP community are "muddying the waters" with their theories and "making it more difficult for the industry as a whole to support Ripple."

After an amazing rise to its all-time high of $3.09 slightly over a year ago, the Cardano price is still mired in the murky waters of the crypto winter. A 90% correction from ADA's historical high could soon be reported if the current retracement at $0.34 continues.

The 10-year Treasury yield in the United States rose to its highest level since 2008. Although this type of rally is usually negative for risky assets, the U.S. stock markets recovered ground after the Wall Street Journal reported that some officials of the Federal Reserve were concerned about the pace of the rate hikes and the risks of over-tightening.

Cardano has endured another down day with ADA again falling and currently sitting 2.5% down in 24hrs at the time of writing.

The lack of a decisive catalyst and the strength in the United States Dollar Index (DXY) has kept the recovery of risky assets under check. Bitcoin (BTC) remains stuck inside a tight range, searching for that elusive breakout. The longer the time Bitcoin spends inside the range, the greater will be the eventual breakout from it.

Cardano (ADA) price is in the process of painting its seventh red monthly candle in a row as the token fell to its lowest level since February 2021.

Cardano has continued its sideways movement in the last 24hrs, first seeing a near 2% rise before sharp sell offs saw the coin twice dip to $0.36.

The United States Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 8.2% annually in September, beating economists’ expectations of an 8.1% rise. The CPI print lived up to its hype and caused a sharp, but short-term increase in volatile risk assets. 

Crypto market continued its mixed trends on Thursday ahead of US inflation data following the hawkish commentary from the US fed in its last FOMC meeting. Bitcoin and other cryptos have remained range bound lately. Bitcoin held above the $19,000 mark, whereas Ethereum remained below $1,300-levels. Trading volume has remained tepid, falling regularly below 20-day averages, which suggest the lack of conviction among the investors. Barring Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether and Tron, all top crypto tokens were trading lower on Thursday. Cardano plunged about 5 per cent, whereas XRP, Dogecoin and Polygon dropped 3 per cent each. Shiba Inu and Avalanche shed 2 per cent each. The global cryptocurrency market cap was trading flat at $915.55 billion, dropping maringally in the last 24 hours. However, the total trading volume jumped almost 20 per cent to $58.48 billion.

Cardano was one of the biggest losers after the US Consumer Price Index was released on Thursday.

Cardano price forecast is mostly neutral as the altcoin consolidates near the $0.4166 triple bottom support area. ADA has formed a descending triangle pattern on the daily timeframe, indicating a bearish bias among investors.
