infrastructure projects, each entailing an investment of Rs 150 crore or above, were hit by cost overrun of more than Rs 5.55 lakh crore during December quarter 2023, an official report stated. The Quarterly Project Implementation Status Report (QPISR) on Central Sector Projects (costing Rs 150 crore and above) for the third quarter of 2023-24, contains detailed information on 1,897 projects. The QPISR is prepared by Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation. Out of 1,897 projects, 448 projects were having cost overrun of Rs 5,55,352.41 crore, which is 65.2 per cent of their sanctioned cost.

RBL Bank reported a 30 percent growth ( year-on-year) to Rs 353 crore for the quarter ended March 24 on higher loan growth and containing bad loans. For the full financial year 2023-24, net profit rose 32 percent to Rs 1168 crore. The bank's board proposed a dividend of Rs l.50/- per share for the financial year 2023-24 subject to all shareholders' approval. Smart card Cost is Rs 70/- (Rs 50/- refundable deposit & Rs 20/- recharge value),» said the Western Railway on its website as of April 27, 2024. «Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) has developed a facility for online recharge of ATVM Smart Cards through the UTSonMobile Website. As a result, passengers can now recharge their ATVM Smart Cards online using all digital payment methods,» said the South Eastern Railway in a press release dated August 18, 2021.
