French oil producer Maurel & Prom separately on Monday said the U.S. on Friday granted it a license to conduct oil and gas operations in Venezuela for the next two years. The U.S. in April did not renew a general license for Venezuela to export oil and fuel to its chosen markets, and gave 45 days to companies to wind down transactions. But the U.S. had said some individual authorizations to foreign firms seeking to do oil business with Venezuela would be issued.

The highest 42.2 was recorded in Phalodi. In the next 48 hours, in most parts of Rajasthan, the average temperature will increase by 2-4 degrees,» said Radheshyam Sharma, director of the Jaipur Meteorological Centre. «In Rajasthan, the temperature will be 44-45 °C. There is a possibility of heatwaves and loo. From May 7 to 10, there will be a heatwave. From May 10-11, there is a possibility of light rain in some regions. From May 7 to 10, IMD Jaipur has issued a yellow alert for heatwave,» he added.

Despite their attempts to flee, both Singh and Sarfaraj were apprehended and interrogated. Singh confessed to be the owner of the manufacturing unit, while Malik admitted to supplying these adulterated spices, the officer said.
