Infosys has decided to tweak its IOE (internet of everything) organizational structure for its delivery and consulting functions as it focuses to adopt generative artificial intelligence in its offerings, ET has learnt. The new IoE organisation structure will be headed by AVP & global delivery head – IOT (Internet of Things) Vikas Gupta, along with AVP and Senior Principal Technology Architect, Krishnananda Shenoy.

Fashion company Shein has confidentially filed to go public in the United States, according to two sources familiar with the matter, in what is likely to be one of the most valuable China-founded companies to list in New York.

MUMBAI : The Adani Group of stocks showed its biggest increase in market capitalization of over a trillion rupees for the first time since the Hindenburg report surfaced, days after the Supreme Court reserved its judgement on a bunch of public interest litigations pleading for a court-monitored investigation into allegations of corporate malfeasance and manipulation against the ports to renewables conglomerate. The market, which was closed for the Guru Nanak Jayanti holiday on Monday, reacted to the conclusion of the SC hearing on Friday as investors interpreted some of the SC’s observations as its having confidence in Sebi’s investigation pertaining to the Hindenburg report that was released on 24 January.

A new Aon PLC report shows that the unadjusted gender pay gap in the tech sector in 2023 is 28-30%, while in junior management, it is 18-20%.

More than 65% of MSME firms have been found to be manufacturing drugs that are not of standard quality (NSQ), during risk-based inspections of pharma companies conducted since December last year, said a person with knowledge of the matter. Out of the total MSME units inspected, 30% were issued stop production orders (SPO), the person cited above told ET. «Samples of 68% MSME companies have failed. This is alarming,» the person said.

Moscow on Tuesday extended the detention of Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, arrested on espionage charges, until Jan. 30, Russian news agencies reported. The hearing took place behind closed doors because authorities say details of the criminal case against the American journalist are classified. Gershkovich, 32, was detained in March while on a reporting trip to the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, about 2,000 kilometers (1,200 miles) east of Moscow.

BSE on Tuesday, November 28, as the Supreme Court (SC) concluded hearings on several petitions demanding an inquiry into the Adani-Hindenburg matter and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) informed the SC that it does not need additional time to complete its investigation into the Adani Group. Shares of flagship firm Adani Enterprises jumped over 4 per cent but shares of Adani Total Gas surged almost 20 per cent. Shares of Adani Green Energy jumped almost 8 per cent while those of Adani Power surged almost 7 per cent to its 52-week high of ₹423.15.
