Growth to come from MSME, affordable housing: Rajesh Sharma, Capri Global
«We see the highway are being built, railway is being built, a lot of manufacturing capacity are being built that will necessarily percolate the order to MSME, where the credit demand will come and that is where the opportunity lies for us,» says Rajesh Sharma, MD & CEO, Capri Global. Let us first understand the big picture. The big picture for India is that the credit offtake is strong, rural demand is under stress, luxury demand is doing very well. The economy has become a K-shaped economy after the pandemic. Is it true? So, partially I believe, but I still believe that the way India infrastructure is growing, the segment of MSMEs and smaller business is also growing pro-rata because these are the service sector.

People in India try to find reason not to pick Kohli, he's my first pick: Ponting
India try to «find reasons» to not pick Virat Kohli in the national side and said the charismatic former skipper would be his «first pick» for the T20 World Cup in the Americas. Kohli's sublime form in the ongoing IPL has seen him leading the run-chart with 708 runs from 14 innings, though questions keep cropping up about his strike rate at the top of the order. «He (Kohli) is the first pick for me for India. So, class and experience like that, you can't replace. »It's funny with Virat. I think people in India just always try to find a reason not to pick him or a reason why he's maybe not as good as some of these other guys in the T20 game," the former Australian captain and Delhi Capitals head coach told ICC.

India eyes ₹1 lakh crore bonanza from central bank, aiding budget
central bank is expected to pay up to ₹1 lakh crore ($12 billion) as dividend to the federal government, economists said, a move that would boost New Delhi’s coffers and help meet its budget deficit target. The Reserve Bank of India’s central bank of directors is expected to meet this week and is likely to approve a dividend ranging between 800 billion to one trillion rupees, according to economists’ estimates.
