Nikhil Kumaraswamy was on Thursday announced as the NDA candidate for the November 13 Assembly by-polls from Channapatna, a seat vacated by his father and Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy after being elected to Lok Sabha. Deep Blue Aerospace, will begin selling tickets on Thursday for a commercial spaceflight scheduled for 2027. In 2023, China conducted 26 commercial launches, including the successful launch of LandSpace's Zhuque-2 rocket, the first methane-fueled rocket in the world. Deep Blue Aerospace is focused on developing reusable rocket technology to lower costs. The planned mission in 2027 will be a suborbital flight, meaning passengers will reach space without entering orbit. The entire space experience is expected to last around 12 minutes.

K Rammohan Naidu on Thursday said the government aims to set up 50 more airports in the next five years and pitched for further developing the country's airport ecosystem that will also help in boosting job creation. In the last 10 years, the number of airports has doubled to 157. Naidu said that 50 more airports are expected to be developed in the next five years and 200 more in the next 20 years. Winning the people's faith in a constituency after every five years is a tough job, Munde told reporters at Parli in Beed district before leaving for filing his nomination. In the 2019 state assembly polls, the minister defeated his cousin and BJP leader Pankaja Munde from Parli.
