CE Infosystems, which operates MapMyIndia jumped 11% to hit their 52-week high of Rs 2,109 on the NSE in Thursday's trade remaining unbeaten in six out of last seven trading sessions. The ongoing rally has taken stock's gains to more than 24% over this period.

Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. traded 1.13 per cent down at Rs 566.65 on Thursday at around 10:51AM (IST), while the benchmark BSE Sensex declined 30.91 points to 66087.78. As many as 2,998 shares changed hands on the counter with a total value of Rs 0.18 crore.

On the BSE, Diksat Transworld L(down 20.00 per cent), Cospower Engg (down 14.24 per cent), Gujarat Natural(down 11.47 per cent), Ganga Pharmaceutical(down 10.00 per cent) and Kush Industries (down 9.32 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session. In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks traded in the green, while 28 stocks traded in the red.

Varun Beverages Ltd. gained 0.19 per cent to Rs 969.0 in Thursday's trade as of 10:56AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 974.95 and low of Rs 965.0 during the session.

GAIL (India) Ltd. gained 0.57 per cent to Rs 121.95 in Thursday's trade. It hit a high of Rs 122.65 and low of Rs 121.3 during the session.

The MCX December gold futures were trading down by Rs 91 or 0.16% from the Wednesday closing price at Rs 58,192 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 70,671 per kg, higher by Rs 122 or 0.17%. Gold futures are down 2.87% or by Rs 1,702 on the month-to-date basis while they have gained 4.83% or by Rs 2,655 on the year-to-date basis, Anuj Gupta, Head Commodity & Currency at HDFC Securities told ETMarkets. As for silver futures, the declines are to the tune of 6.78% or Rs 5,133 in September while the gains this year stand at 1.64% or Rs 1,136, he said.

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. traded 0.5 per cent up at Rs 1004.7 at around 10:35AM (IST) on Thursday. The stock had closed at Rs 999.65 in the previous session.

Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd (GAEL), part of the agricultural products industry, has rallied by about 18% in a week to touch a fresh 52-week high in September 2023 and the chart patterns suggest that the rally may not be over yet. The stock rose from Rs 285 as of 18 September 2023 to Rs 338 recorded on 25 September 2023 which translates into an upside of over 18% in a week. The stock has rallied over 30% in a month – putting it in an overbought zone. Gujarat Ambuja Exports, which has a market capitalization of more than Rs 7600 cr trades at a market capitalization of 27.05x and an earnings per share of Rs 12.49, BSE data showed. Short to medium-term traders can look to buy the stock now for a target of Rs 360 in the next 3-4 weeks, suggest experts.

Shriram Finance Ltd. traded at Rs 1907.3 on BSE at 10:45AM (IST) on Thursday, up 0.83 per cent from previous close. The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1147.05 and a high of Rs 1974.95.

Investing.com-- Gold prices moved little on Thursday, but hovered around six-month lows as concerns over rising U.S. interest rates kept investors largely biased to the dollar, while Treasury yields also surged. 

Cholamandalam Investment & Finance Company Ltd. rose 1.8 per cent to Rs 1220.0 in Thursday's trade as of 10:05AM (IST) even as the benchmark Nifty ruled at 19691.55, down 24.9 points. The scrip had closed at Rs 1198.35 in the previous session.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd. rose 2.1 per cent to Rs 305.65 in Thursday's trade. It hit an intraday high of Rs 309.8 and low of Rs 298.9, respectively, during the day.

U.S. economic data and fresh comments from Federal Reserve officials. Fed Chair Jerome Powell is scheduled to speak later on Thursday, giving markets further clues into the future path of U.S. monetary policy.

Sensex rose 173 points to settle at 66,118, while the broader Nifty gained 51 points to end at 19,716. Stocks that were in focus included names like REC, which rose 6.06%, Suzlon Energy, which dropped 1.54%, and Hudco, whose shares jumped 2.63% on Wednesday. REC — Neutral In this quarter so far, the stock rallied over 70%. After the 170 breakout the stock consistently held higher high and higher low series formation, which is largely positive. Last Wednesday, the stock rallied over 6% and hit a fresh all time high of 285.95.
