Nifty managed to close higher for the sixth consecutive session on Friday, September 8, despite a cautious global market. The benchmarks recorded their second straight week of gains and posted their best week since the week ending June 30, gaining nearly 2 per cent, each.

Shares of Sobha Ltd.(up 10.89 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 3.52 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 2.43 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 2.4 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 2.22 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack. On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd.(down 2.31 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day. The Nifty Realty index closed 2.12 per cent up at 591.4.
