markets UPS Booking economy Research patient rights If you avoid speculation & leverage, even God cannot sink you! Activity in portfolio not a friend of wealth creation: Raamdeo Agrawal
Raamdeo Agrawal, Chairman & Co-Founder, Motilal Oswal Group, says there is no quick and easy money in the market. There is a very patient money and there are tonnes of it. But it is not quick money. If you want to turn your Rs 1 crore into Rs 10 crore in 10 years, it is possible. But if you want to turn Rs 1 crore to Rs 2 crore in the next year, that is very tough. You might even lose your 1 crore. Buffett has given a template to the world. Buy a good business run by a decent manager at a fair price. Let us take Raamdeo Agrawal’s portfolio versus Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s portfolio versus Nemish Shah's portfolio versus Prashant Jain’s portfolio – the big investors. All of them endorse Buffett’s philosophy. But there is nothing in common as far as selection of stocks is concerned. Raamdeo Agrawal: Of course. There are so many good companies. So, everybody approaches good stock portfolios. If there are 100 good stocks, some 20-25 will go to Rakesh, another 25 will go to Nemish bhai, and some 15-20 will come to me or like that. It will get distributed. Some overlap is always there.

pork can cause serious parasitic infections in humans, according to a doctor who shared a chilling CT scan of a patient's body. Dr. Sam Ghali explains that humans become infected with Taenia solium by consuming cysts found in undercooked pork. These cysts typically evolve within 5-12 weeks in the gastrointestinal tract into mature adult tapeworms, a condition known as Intestinal Taeniasis. These adult tapeworms shed eggs, which are excreted in human feces. It’s crucial to understand that the clinical syndrome known as Cysticercosis develops only when these eggs are ingested through fecal-oral transmission.

ICE Death Research Lawson reports patient donates How this new tech can offer hope for patients waiting for transplants
organ donation crisis persists as demand far exceeds supply. In India alone, over 300,000 patients are currently on the waiting list for donor organs, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Successful organ donation hinges on multiple factors, including organ compatibility with the recipient’s body weight, height, size, and blood group. Even when a match is found, the viability of the organ, particularly the heart, can be compromised by the lack of oxygen and blood during the dying process, a TOI report stated. Revolutionary Procedure Expands Organ Availability A new technique, known as abdominal normothermic regional perfusion (A-NRP), could significantly improve organ availability. Developed by doctors in the US and Canada, this method involves connecting the deceased body to a portable heart and lung machine. This machine supplies blood to vital organs like the liver, pancreas, small intestine, and kidneys after circulatory death. By maintaining a steady flow of oxygen and nutrients, A-NRP enhances the condition of the organs, making them suitable for transplantation.
