Banks may relatively underperform compared to rest of the market: Ajay Srivastava
«It is good for everybody, good for investors, good for savers, good interest rate and with the rains coming I think we finally can hear sigh of relief that what was the biggest question mark in the economy possibly will get addressed in the next 30-60 days,» says Ajay Srivastava, Dimensions Corporate Finance. Take a look as to what the month of June brought us and now it looks like July as well is getting off to a stellar start. Ajay Srivastava: I tell you look at inside the screen, look at outside the screen, it has been absolutely stellar. We got rains in Delhi finally after 50 degrees centigrade. So, I know I could not have asked from the God better things in life. I do not think I will make any trip to any pilgrimage site. I think I have got everything what I wanted right here, sitting here.

"Not for the first time..." Asaduddin Owaisi on alleged attack at his residence
AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Friday criticized the Central government and Delhi Police for their response to the alleged vandalism at his residence. On the alleged attack at his residence on Friday, Assaduddin Owaisi said, «It has not happened for the first time. Things like this are happening because the Narendra Modi government and the PM himself have radicalised such people. When the PM himself says that Muslims are infiltrators and identify them by their attires, it gives courage to such people». «They put the flag of Israel on my home which shows these people believe in zionist ideology, an ideology that killed 40,000 people and left 12 lakh people homeless in Gaza,» he added.

Is a market-linked pension plan right for you? Vivek Jain explains
Vivek Jain, Head of Investments, Policybazaar.com, says if you are still below 40, you can go for a market-linked retirement plan because your risk appetite is higher and you have a longer horizon. Hopefully, you will get good returns if you stay in the stock market you have for 20-odd years. But if you are closer to retirement, 50-55 years old, then you should put in most of your savings in a guaranteed kind of pension plan. Retirement is a very crucial goal for a lot of us, we have seen that more than planning it in an investment-based way, a lot of people prefer buying retirement products from life insurance. Typically what are those products that we are talking about? We will get into the aspect where we can discuss if it is better than any other investment avenue.

How the Biden-Trump debate could change the trajectory of the 2024 campaign
Joe Biden and his Republican rival, Donald Trump, will meet for a debate on Thursday that offers an unparalleled opportunity for both candidates to try to reshape the political narrative. Biden, the Democratic incumbent, gets the chance to reassure voters that, at 81, he's capable of guiding the U.S. through a range of challenges. The 78-year-old Trump, meanwhile, could use the moment to try to move past his felony conviction in New York and convince an audience of tens of millions that he's temperamentally suited to return to the Oval Office.

Biden, sounding hoarse and tentative at times, stumbled over his words on occasion, while Trump rattled off one attack after another that included several well-worn falsehoods, including claims that migrants have carried out a crime wave and that Democrats support infanticide.
