GMR Goa International Airport is looking to raise ₹2,480 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures to repay existing debt and fund capex. The securities have a tenor of five years and will be raised at 10.25%.JP Morgan will help raise the debt. The paper is rated BBB+ by Care Ratings and has a call option after three years. Proceeds of the paper will be used to repay the existing senior debt of ₹1,520 crore, repay the external subordinated debt of ₹227 crore, repay the group-level debt of ₹269 crore and fund capex, according to an indicative term sheet seen by ET. GMR Goa International Airport, which is a 100% subsidiary of GMR Airports, is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) set up to establish the greenfield international airport at Mopa in the northern part of Goa, on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis.

New Delhi: Shell India on Monday announced the appointment of Mansi Madan Tripathy as the new country chair of the company, effective 1 October, the company said in a statement. Tripathy will succeed Nitin Prasad who has been the country chair since 2016, it added.

Security forces had to fire tear gas shells to control the irate mob. Unidentified attackers burnt down five houses at New Lambulane locality in Manipur's capital Imphal. A police official said that the firefighters immediately rushed to the spot and doused the blaze. " Irate mob gathered and blamed authorities for not identifying the culprits.

Shell Energy India on Wednesday said it will invest Rs 3,500 crore in Gujarat to set up a renewable energy facility, charging stations for electric vehicles, and an LNG regasification terminal, which would create nearly 4,300 jobs. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard was signed between the Gujarat government and Shell Energy India in Gandhinagar on Wednesday in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, a government release said. The agreement has been signed as part of the upcoming 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit to be held in January next year, said the release. Under this MoU, Shell Energy India will invest Rs 2,200 crore to set up a renewable energy production facility on 1,200 acres in Banaskantha district of north Gujarat. The facility will provide direct and indirect employment to more than 1,000 people, and it is expected to commence commercial production by 2026.
