ecommerce data in the new Consumer Price Index (CPI). The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has begun inter-ministerial discussions and talks with ecommerce companies on the best way of implementing the addition so that retail inflation data better reflects changing consumer spending patterns.
