Shares of ECOS (India) Mobility and Hospitality surged 16.5% to Rs 456 on the BSE following a decent debut on Wednesday. The stock was listed at Rs 391.2 on the BSE, posting a 17.1% premium over the IPO price of Rs 334. However, the listing was slightly below expectations, as the shares were trading at a grey market premium (GMP) of 48% above the issue price before the debut.

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. slipped 0.34 per cent to Rs 1455.0 in Wednesday's trade as of 11:26AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 1466.8 and low of Rs 1430.85 during the session.

Bharat Forge Ltd. traded 1.0 per cent up at Rs 1582.7 on Wednesday at around 12:27PM (IST), while the benchmark BSE Sensex declined 427.35 points to 82128.09. As many as 19,812 shares changed hands on the counter with a total value of Rs 3.1 crore.

Tube Investments of India Ltd. gained 0.18 per cent to Rs 4095.95 in Wednesday's trade. It hit a high of Rs 4112.05 and low of Rs 4051.95 during the session. On the technical charts, the 200-DMA of the stock stood at Rs 3798.4, while the 50-DMA was at Rs 4114.4. If a stock trades above 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means the immediate trend is upward. On the other hand, if the stock trades below 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it is considered a bearish trend and if trades between these averages, then it suggests the stock can go either way.

Voltas Ltd. slipped 1.37 per cent to Rs 1786.9 in Wednesday's trade as of 12:32PM (IST). It hit a high of Rs 1808.25 and low of Rs 1775.75 during the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1828.8 and a low of Rs 806.9. The return on equity for the stock stood at 4.32 per cent. About 22,903 shares have changed hands on the counter so far.

ACC Ltd. rose 0.34 per cent to Rs 2349.15 in Wednesday's trade. It hit an intraday high of Rs 2349.45 and low of Rs 2302.35, respectively, during the day. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 2843.0 and low of Rs 1803.8.

The NSE Nifty index traded 153.6 points down at 25126.25, while BSE Sensex was down 444.36 points at 82111.08 as of 10:54AM(IST)on September 04.

Cochin Shipyard (CSL) saw a sharp downturn of 24% from its all-time high of 2979 in just one month while also witnessing a decline of 8% in the last two weeks. Recently, the stock also slipped below the key support of the 100-day Exponential Moving Average (DEMA), which displays a continued weakness.

Au Small Finance Bank Ltd.(up 0.67 per cent) and HDFC Bank Ltd.(up 0.34 per cent) were among the top gainers.

SRF Ltd. traded 0.17 per cent down at Rs 2581.75 on Wednesday at around 11:01AM (IST), while the benchmark BSE Sensex declined 395.22 points to 82160.22. As many as 4,990 shares changed hands on the counter with a total value of Rs 1.28 crore.

Marico Ltd. dropped 0.61 per cent to Rs 636.15 at 11:41AM (IST) in Wednesday's trade. The counter has hit a high of Rs 643.0 and low of Rs 633.1 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 640.1 in the previous session. The counter has had a total traded volume of 12757 shares so far with a value of Rs 0.82 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 54.22 and a price-to-book ratio of 16.73.

Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd.(up 4.89%), Krishana Phoschem Ltd.(up 3.72%), The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd.(up 2.06%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries Corporation Ltd.(up 1.56%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd.(up 0.73%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd.(up 0.49%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd.(up 0.46%), Rama Phosphates Ltd.(up 0.35%), Paradeep Phosphates Ltd.(up 0.35%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd.(up 0.15%) were among the top gainers.

Lupin Ltd. traded 0.52 per cent up in Wednesday's trade at 11:31AM (IST). Around 8,398 shares changed hands on the counter. The stock opened at Rs 2220.75 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 2263.5 and Rs 2205.25, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Lupin Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 2272.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1091.8.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. economists gamed out the potential economic implications of a Republican or Democratic victory in the November elections, cautioning that US GDP faces a hit in the case of a win for Donald Trump. “We estimate that if Trump wins in a sweep or with divided government, the hit to growth from tariffs and tighter immigration policy would outweigh the positive fiscal impulse” from maintaining most tax cuts, Goldman economists including Alec Phillips wrote in a note Tuesday. Gross domestic product would see a peak hit of 0.5 percentage point in the second half of next year in that scenario, with the effects abating in 2026, the Goldman team estimated. They assumed a 20 percentage-point hike in China tariffs under Trump, along with higher duties on auto imports from Mexico and the European Union, and a reduction in immigration that would slow growth in the labor force.

PI Industries Ltd. traded 0.05 per cent up at Rs 4541.35 on Wednesday at around 10:55AM (IST), while the benchmark BSE Sensex declined 443.38 points to 82112.06. As many as 2,977 shares changed hands on the counter with a total value of Rs 1.32 crore.

Adani Green Energy, the renewables arm of the Adani Group, plans to redeem $750 million in bonds due on September 9, which has led yields to drop 60 basis points to 6.22%. The redemption will be financed through a mix of internal accruals, a $300 million infusion from strategic partner Total Energies (which holds a 19.75% stake), and $281 million from the promoters. The company will also draw $169 million from the debt service reserve account, hedge reserves, and interest on reserves, sources said.
