Remedium Lifecare board to consider issuance of bonus shares after 1:5 stock split
Bonus shares 2024: After trading ex-split on February 23 2024, in a 1:5 ratio, the board of directors of Remedium Lifecare Ltd will discuss and approve the issuance of bonus shares this month. The small-cap company has informed the Indian stock market's exchanges about the development. The company said that the board will discuss the bonus shares proposal in its upcoming board meeting on May 10, 2024.

India, Nigeria to increase cooperation in energy, UPI, local currency settlement to enhance economic ties
India and Nigeria have identified areas such as crude oil, natural gas, pharmaceuticals, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), local currency settlement system, and power sector to increase cooperation for boosting economic ties. The commerce ministry on Friday said that these issues among others were discussed during a recent visit of a seven-member delegation from India to Nigeria. The delegation was led by Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Amardeep Singh Bhatia. The Indian delegation consisted of officials from Reserve Bank of India (RBI), EXIM Bank of India and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), the ministry said in a statement.

Devina Mehra, Chairperson, MD & Founder,First Global, says: “Capital goods, industrial is now consensus trade. We went overweight on it in October 2021 when it was considered a dark sector. It took the market another two years to discover it. The Stocks have doubled, tripled, even quadrupled and we have been cutting exposure. We have been changing the stocks, but we do not hold as much as we used to, but we still are overweight. But that story may well get over in some quarters. On the other hand, the stocks which we still like are auto, pharma and some construction. While we are not hugely overweight on IT, we are waiting for it to bottom out. Sometime this year that will be the big opportunity.”
