Gold And Silver Prices Today: Gold prices experienced a slight increase on Wednesday. The price of 24 carat gold is Rs.6426.4 per gm, up by Rs.1107.0. The price of 22 carat gold is Rs.5886.5 per gm, up by Rs.1013.0.

Wipro to ‘Sell’ on unattractive risk-reward and has revised the target price on the stock to ₹440 per share from ₹430 earlier, following a sharp 34% stock upmove in the past three months. It believes Wipro stock is expensive at 21X FY2026E earnings and trades at just 6-9% discount to Infosys and HCL Technologies despite significantly weaker fundamentals. Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty gained 16.36 points to 22214.7, while the BSE Sensex traded 87.05 points up at 73182.27.

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.16 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(up 0.84 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.65 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.21 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Siemens Ltd. traded 0.79 per cent up at Rs 4622.75 at around 10:41AM (IST) on Wednesday. The stock had closed at Rs 4586.3 in the previous session. Equity benchmark Sensex traded 8.65 points higher at 73103.87 around the same time.

Bharat Electronics Ltd. traded 1.24 per cent up at Rs 207.85 at 10:30AM (IST) on Wednesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 92.61 points to 73187.83. The stock had settled at Rs 205.3 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 209.0 and 52-week low of Rs 89.68, respectively. As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:30AM (IST) stood at 417105 shares with a turnover of Rs 8.66 crore.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 6.15 points down at 22192.2, while BSE Sensex was up 7.58 points at 73102.8 at the time of writing this report.

Vodafone Idea Board approved fundraising of up to ₹45,000 crore through equity and debt, said the telecom company in an exchange filing on February 27. The company said it will raise ₹20,000 crore through a combination of equity or equity-linked instruments and the rest via debt and promoters will also participate in the proposed equity raise. The company said it will call for a meeting of its shareholders on April 2, 2024 and post-shareholder approval it expects to complete the equity fund raise in the coming quarter.

Bumble said on Tuesday it would cut about 350 roles, marking new CEO Lidiane Jones' first big move, after the online dating company forecast disappointing first-quarter revenue as it grapples with a slowdown in user spending. Shares of the Austin, Texas-based company, which offers dating apps such as Bumble, Badoo, and Fruitz, fell more than 7% in extended trading.

Federal Reserve's easing cycle, while the New Zealand dollar fell sharply after the central bank softened its hawkish stance on rates. New Zealand's central bank held the cash rate steady at 5.5% on Wednesday, reiterating that previous rate hikes had helped dampen prices, but adding that the risk of further rate hikes had been reduced. The kiwi was last at $0.61235, down 0.75% on the day.

eBay beat market expectations for quarterly revenue and profit on Tuesday, helped by healthy consumer spending during the holiday season and strength in its focus categories such as refurbished goods and auto parts. Shares of the company rose around 4% in extended trading.

Oil prices slipped in early Asian trade on Wednesday as the prospect of a delayed U.S. rate cutting cycle offset the boost provided by talk of extensions to production cuts from OPEC+. Brent crude futures fell 38 cents, or 0.45%, to $83.27 a barrel by 0110 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures (WTI) were down 35 cents, or 0.44%, to $78.52 a barrel.
