Not anymore, or at least it's not just that. The agave-based spirit is now sipped neat, on the rocks or with soda and even as a cocktail mix beyond just margaritas, making it the fastest-growing alcohol segment in the country, albeit on a small base.

Golden Goose shoes: What’s it worth for investors?
Golden Goose Group is seeking to list in Milan in an initial public offer (IPO) that could value the maker of $500 distressed sneakers at about €3 billion ($3.2 billion) including net debt. The company, the vast majority of which was bought by private equity group Permira for about €1.3 billion in 2020, is wooing investors as a luxury brand. But it looks more like Dr Martens, in that it’s reliant on a signature shoe style that risks falling out of fashion.

Reality behind the 8.2% FY24 GDP growth is not as robust
real GDP growth print at 7.8% YoY came higher than implied in CSO’s advance estimate for the full year of FY24 at 7.3%. As a result, the average growth for FY24 stands much higher at 8.2%. While it reflects a modest deceleration from 3QFY24 at 8.6%, the average second-half growth of 8.2% is unchanged over the first half. Also, it gives an impression of a decisive turnaround from the 2HFY23 downturn and an FY23 average of 7%. However, the surprise part remains limited to the headline numbers. The headline growth appears misleading given the underlying situation.
