‘That’s not me!’ Ben Stokes silences critics with fitting comeback to Australian newspaper's taunting 'Crybaby' headline
cricket captain, Ben Stokes, has responded to an Australian newspaper's attempt to label him and his team as 'crybabies'. The response came as the fierce battle between England and Australia in the ongoing Ashes series extended beyond the cricket pitch, with media outlets from both countries engaging in a war of words. The Australian media fired shots at England's team, labelling them as 'crybabies' after Stokes expressed his displeasure on the controversial dismissal of England wicketkeeper batter, Jonny Bairstow, during the recent Lord's Test. Bairstow had walked out of the crease after ducking a short ball from Cameron Green, but with the ball still in play, Carey threw it at the stumps and dislodged the bails. Bairstow was left stunned, as the English fans booed loudly. Australia won the match by 43 runs despite Stokes’s heroic 155 in the fourth innings. After Monday's papers in the United Kingdom took a dig at the Australian team over the controversial dismissal, one newspaper, The West Australian, published a front-page image of Stokes in nappies, with a pacifier and the headline 'Crybabies'. «Poms take whingeing to a new level with 'cheating' drivel» read another line from the paper.

Bandhan Mutual Fund launches Bandhan Financial Services Fund
Bandhan Mutual Fund has announced the launch of the Bandhan Financial Services Fund, an open-ended equity scheme, that allows investors to benefit from the multi-year growth opportunities in the financial services sector. The New Fund Offer will open for subscription on July 10 and will close on July 24. “A significant portion of India’s economic growth is fueled by the financial services sector. Powerful enablers like increasing financial inclusion, growing digitization, and the relatively stronger balance sheet of banks and NBFCs provide visibility for strong earnings growth for this sector. It has been a key driver of returns for the capital market with the Financial Services Index growing 18X since inception compared to 10X for the Nifty 500 Index,” said Vishal Kapoor, CEO, Bandhan AMC. “The Bandhan Financial Services Fund will go beyond the traditional Banking sector by diversifying further with investments in Capital Markets, NBFCs, Insurance, and Fintech as well, providing investors with an opportunity to benefit from India’s long-term growth story,” added Kapoor.

New FTC Guidelines Could Prompt Marketers, Influencers to Revisit Endorsement Practices
The Federal Trade Commission has issued a long-anticipated update to its guidelines for endorsements, which advise businesses about how to make sure consumers understand when celebrities, influencers or even regular consumers are compensated to promote or review their products. Some marketers and influencers will now need to go beyond using hashtags such as “#ad" in social media, for example, to ensure that all users will see that a post is sponsored without having to click “more" or read the full text of the post, the FTC said last week as it released the update.
