When the banking job cuts of 2023 are reflected upon by generations to come, the cuts at Bank of America are unlikely to be remembered. It's Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Citi that have made the most noise about trimming heads in 2023. But it's Bank of America that has quietly cut the most.

Identifying India as its priority market, British coffee chain brand, Costa Coffee’s global CEO Philippe Schaillee on Friday said that it will add 50 more speciality coffee stores in the country. Tata Coffee reported higher consolidated total income of Rs. 708 crore for the quarter, a 6% increase compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.  This growth was driven by higher realizations in both the Plantation Coffee and Instant Coffee businesses in India and Vietnam.

Hill Harper has announced that he is running for Michigan's open US Senate seat. Harper is also set to challenge US Rep. Elissa Slotkin for the Democratic nomination, as per reports. Harper is known for his roles on «CSI: NY» and «The Good Doctor». Harper is the sixth Democratic candidate to enter the race for retiring Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow's seat. Stabenow announced in January that she would not be seeking a fifth term in 2024 in the battleground state.
