Tata Starbucks has opened its island store surrounded by the vistas of Arabian Sea in the coastal town of Alibaug in an attempt to serve high-quality Arabica coffees to local customers and meet the demand from global travellers to the city, the JV announced on Thursday. Located at a vantage spot at the M2M Ferry Terminal in Alibaug, the new store will present Starbucks coffees sourced and brewed from around the world, the coffeehouse said in a release, adding that its menu will also feature favourite Indian beverages including South Indian Filter Coffee, Masala Chai, and Elaichi Chai. The seaside town has had tremendous growth in both infrastructure and economic development over the years, making it a popular weekend retreat and more so like a second home for the Mumbaikars.
