Amazon Prime Video has made the decision to cancel «The Peripheral», as reported by Variety. The announcement comes despite Amazon's prior renewal of the show for a second season in February. Adapted from the William Gibson novel of the same title, the series premiered on Amazon on October 21, 2022.

Bitdeer, a crypto mining firm spun off from mining manufacturer Bitmain, has entered into an agreement with the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) B. Riley Financial to sell up to $150 million of its Class A ordinary shares.
