UPS Sweden plans on tightening family immigration rule
Commenting on the proposed changes, Maria Malmer Stenergard, Migration Minister of Sweden, said that measures are necessary and, at the same time, stressed that the country is currently dealing with major challenges related to the inclusion of migrants into society. “Extensive immigration in recent years combined with a lack of integration has contributed to Sweden facing major challenges with growing exclusion. In order to break and reverse the development, a series of measures need to be taken,” the statement of Minister Stenergard reads. As part of the bill, the government has also proposed to increase the age limit for refusing a residence permit for foreign residents’ family members from 18 to 21 years. «This would help in preventing forced marriages and stressed that this is the highest age limit that is permitted by the EU law,» Stenergard said.

COST UPS FIVE SUN Landmark Luna 62 of 111 lunar missions in last seven decades were successful: NASA database
NASA's database on Moon missions.India on Friday launched its third mission to the Moon, Chandrayaan-3, with an aim to soft-land on the surface of Earth's only natural satellite. A successful landing would make India the fourth country to achieve the rare feat after the United States, China and the erstwhile USSR. According to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the technically challenging soft landing on the lunar surface, which Chandrayaan-2 could not achieve, has been planned for 5.47 pm on August 23. Former ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair said the success rate of lunar missions is nearly 50 per cent because of the uncertainties when the rockets leave Earth's gravitational field. «The influence of other planets, from the Sun, is quite a bit. A lot of radiation conditions exist in space and this leaves some equipment or components prone to failure. In India's both missions (Chandrayaan 1 and 2), we have precisely reached the moon's orbit,» Nair told PTI.

Lowe's Companies raise concerns over EU's carbon curbs
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India and Hindalco Industries have raised concerns about the European Union's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which is set to kick in less than three months from now. While ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India said exporters to the EU, especially developing nations, will be at a «gross disadvantage» against European competitors given the proposed method for calculating average embedded emissions, Hindalco said the regulations mandate sharing of voluminous operational data for concluding the sale of commodity items such as aluminium products. «With this framework, the exporters to EU (especially developing nations) will be at a gross disadvantage against European competitors as their efforts to produce low carb steel dedicated for exports will not fetch the full premium,» ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India said. ET has seen copies of both the submissions which were made to the European Commission. Terming the draft «highly flawed both at the conceptual and practical level», Hindalco said the draft regulation is likely to have a «chilling effect on international trade». «Such a process raises multiple critical issues such as the confidentiality of producers and operators data, and the lead time that may be required for concluding transactions,» it said.
