UPS Booking Airlines IndiGo introduces flight to Tbilisi; starts bookings
IndiGo on Saturday introduced flight services to Georgia's Tbilisi effective August 8, 2023, the airline stated in a press release. The services are available for bookings as well. The introduction of these new flights caters to the rising travel demand for Georgia while also benefiting business travelers, said IndiGo in a press release. The new connectivity has the potential to grow trade and bolster economic and cultural ties between the two nations. «Tbilisi is also part of the 'Silk Route' which will further enhance the flow of trade from the city,» said IndiGo. «We are thrilled to announce Tbilisi amongst our new destinations in our expanding 6E network, opening up exciting international travel opportunities. Georgia is now amongst the favored & sought after holiday destinations for Indian travelers,” said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo.

In his role as Deputy Comptroller and Chief Financial Technology Officer, Bhardwaj will lead the team responsible for analysis, evaluation, and discussion of relevant trends in fintech, emerging and potential risks, and the potential implications for OCC supervision. The Office is designed to boost the OCC’s expertise on matters regarding digital assets, fintech partnerships, and other changing technologies and business models within and that affect OCC-supervised banks. Georgia Quinn, general counsel at Anchorage Digital says: "The crypto industry should welcome the OCC’s new office as a clear sign the federal government is serious about bringing crypto and emerging areas of financial technology within the regulatory perimeter."
