Northern Lights will be visible from as many as 17 states across the US. This comes after storms created by gigantic storms were visible from more than 30 states in the US, including Iowa, Kansas, and North Dakota.Northern lights, which is also known as aurora borealis, is a luminous astronomical phenomenon. This is visible in the night sky. Northern lights can be viewed while looking in the direction of pole which is the closest. In the Northern hemisphere, it is the north, and in Southern hemisphere, it is the south. Northern lights is caused by solar winds from the Sun and magnetic field of the Earth. People residing in 17 states in the US will be able to view the Northern lights next week. These 17 states are — 1. North Dakota, 2. South Dakota, 3. Alaska, 4. Indiana, 5. Montana, 6. Wisconsin 7. Minnesota 8. Michigan 9. Maryland 10. Maine 11. New Hampshire 12. New York 13. Vermont 14. Oregon 15. Washington 16. Idaho 17. Wyoming. Northern Lights will be visible on July 12 and July 13. However, weather needs to be clear in order to view Northern Lights, as per reports.
