Berghain in Berlin, or Output in NYC, or Zouk in Singapore. It's the grandfatherly sounding North Atlantic Treaty Organisation that is, almost 75 years after being founded, trending and trending hard as #Nato. Marx — of the Groucho variety — had famously said that he refused to join any club that would have him as a member.

Multibagger Stock: Intellivate Capital Ventures turned ₹10,000 into over ₹1 lakh in 2023
Intellivate Capital Ventures have given exceptional returns to their investors in 2023 following the overall positive market sentiment. Despite facing multiple challenges such as the Russia-Ukraine war, the Israel-Hamas war, peak global inflation, rising crude prices, peak US 10-year yield, and a consumption slowdown, the Indian market achieved a record-high streak. This remarkable performance can be attributed to sustained foreign and domestic investor inflows, improving macroeconomic indicators, and the potential for the incumbent government's return to power, all of which, contributed to keeping the markets resilient during the period.

India becomes 2nd-largest importer of Russian fuels
Russia's crude oil exports and a fifth of coal came to India in the past 12 months, making India the second-largest importer of Russian fuels after China, according to a research agency. Since the European Union imposed a ban on the import of coal, oil and some other commodities from Russia on December 5, 2022, supplies to India and China have increased. Between the EU ban and the end of November this year, China imported 40% of all the coal and 45% of all the crude oil Russia exported, according to the Finland-based Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA). India purchased 32% of Russia's crude oil exports while the EU (8%) and Turkey (4%) were the third- and fourth-largest buyers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi becomes first global leader to have 20 mn subscribers for his YouTube channel
Narendra Modi has become the sole global leader with 20 million subscribers on his personal YouTube channel, as per latest data collated by Viennese startup Tubics. With 224 million views in December 2023 alone, Modi's YouTube channel had 43 times more views than Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's channel. Overall, with 4.5 billion video views, Modi's YouTube channel leads the pack, both in terms of subscribers and video views among top world leaders. Brazil's former president Jair Bolsonaro is at the second spot with a modest 6.4 million followers on his personal YouTube channel, which is less than a third of followers on Modi's channel. Modi, in fact, leads other global leaders on the subscribers/video viewership sweepstakes on personal YouTube channels by a mile. For instance, US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron are at a distant fourth and sixth places with 789,000 and 316,000 subscribers, respectively, on their personal YouTube channels, as per Tubics data. Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is way down in the pecking order, at 10th place with under 70,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel. Video views and subscribers on Modi's YouTube channel are also way ahead of those recorded by the YouTube channels of other Indian political leaders.
