As per economists, this is how Donald Trump will increase inflation if elected US President
Donald Trump is currently a leading favorite to win the US elections but there are severe concerns on what the condition of the US economy could end up to be if he comes to power. Trump's promises around tax cuts, tariffs and immigration could lead to serious inflation, feel economists, and if things take a turn for the worse after the elections, it could hurt the US economy so badly, that it could take an entire administration period to mitigate the damages.

Instagram Launches New 'Teen Accounts' with Privacy Controls Amid Growing Concerns
Instagram announced tighter privacy settings for younger users on Tuesday. These restrictions include the requirement for ‘Teen Accounts’ and parental controls that limit what children can view. All Instagram accounts belonging to users under the age of 18 in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia will become ‘Teen Accounts’ within 60 days and be set to private by default. Besides other new privacy settings and limitations, the new account type, called Teen Accounts, will only allow messages from users they follow or are already connected to. It will also put users in sleep mode between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. to encourage sleep, and it will give users access to the most restrictive tier of the app's settings for viewing sensitive content. This is the one thing that far-right activist Laura Loomer wants from Donald Trump
Laura Loomer's increasing power within Donald Trump's inner circle has drawn the attention of Sarah Matthews, a former press assistant in the White House. Why Loomer's affiliation with Trump is concerning was explained by Matthews on MSNBC's Jen Psaki program. At significant occasions like a 9/11 memorial service and a presidential debate, Loomer—who is well-known for her conspiracy theories and far-right opinions—has regularly been spotted with Trump. Matthews highlighted that Loomer's association with Trump is «extremely concerning,» characterizing her as someone on the conservative fringe of politics, as per the reports of Yahoo news.

Kamala Harris to sit down with Black journalists for a rare interview
Kamala Harris is set to conduct a rare extended campaign interview Tuesday, taking questions from a trio of journalists from the National Association of Black Journalists just a month after former President Donald Trump 's appearance before the same organization turned contentious over matters of race and other issues. The Trump interview opened a chapter in the campaign in which the Republican candidate repeatedly questioned Harris' racial identity, baselessly claiming that she had only belatedly «turned Black» at some point in her professional career. Trump has since repeatedly questioned Harris' racial identity on the campaign trail and during the September presidential debate Harris, the daughter of a Jamaican father and an Indian mother, has repeatedly dismissed Trump's remarks as «the same old show.» During her September debate with Trump she said it was a «tragedy» that he had «attempted to use race to divide the American people.»

For Gates Foundation, it's to help India but also learn from India: Bill Gates
Alongside the launch of the Gates Foundation Goalkeepers Report 2024, Microsoft cofounder and philanthropist Bill Gates tells ET that he hopes India will be able to graduate from the public distribution system and rely instead on raised incomes over the next decades. Edited excerpts: The latest Goalkeepers Report focuses strongly on malnutrition. What is your view on India’s policy interventions such as free cereals given through the public distribution system? There is no doubt that the poorer you are, the higher is food as a percentage of your budget. And so, the idea that governments, either by incentivising the private sector or through various subsidisation, keep food costs fairly low- particularly for the urban poor, and yet they have to be careful not to hurt the farmers. The balancing act, India does manage largely. In the US, we have graduated from needing to have this type of food distribution. We have a thing called ‘food stamps’, where you get money, and you can only use it to buy food. At some point — it could be more than a decade — hopefully, you can graduate from having to have a public distribution system and just rely on the fact that you have raised incomes and educated consumers.
