supercomputer, which will integrate 100,000 Nvidia chips, up and running by the fall of 2025. During a recent presentation to investors, he emphasized his personal commitment to ensuring the project is completed on schedule. As per the report, the proposed supercomputer is expected to be "at least four times the size of the largest GPU clusters currently in existence," including those utilized by Meta for AI model training, Musk reportedly stated.Since the debut of OpenAI's generative AI tool, ChatGPT, in 2022, the field of AI has become intensely competitive, with major players like Microsoft, Google, Meta, and startups such as Anthropic and Stability AI vying for dominance.Musk stands out as one of the few investors with the financial resources to challenge AI powerhouses like OpenAI, Google, and Meta.xAI is in the process of developing Grok, a chatbot capable of accessing real-time information from X, the social media platform previously known as Twitter, which Musk also owns.Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015 but departed in 2018, later expressing discomfort with the company’s shift towards profit under CEO Sam Altman’s leadership.

Tesla shareholders advised to reject Musk's $56 bln pay
Proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis said on Saturday it has urged Tesla shareholders to reject a $56 billion pay package for Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk, which if passed would be the largest pay package for a CEO in corporate America. The report cited reasons like the «excessive size» of the pay deal, the dilutive effect upon exercise and the concentration of ownership. It also mentioned Musk's «slate of extraordinarily time-consuming projects» which have expanded with his high-profile purchase of Twitter, now known as X.

Tesla drops reference to its goal of delivering 20 million vehicles annually in impact report
Tesla has left out its goal of delivering 20 million vehicles a year by 2030 in its latest impact report, another sign the company is tempering its auto ambitions as it shifts focus to robotaxis. Musk said in 2020 that Tesla aspired to sell 20 million vehicles by the end of the current decade — nearly twice as many as those sold by Toyota, the world's largest automaker. «Our goal is to build and deliver 20 million vehicles a year by 2030. To achieve this goal, we need to make our products even more accessible,» the company had said, while reiterating the goal in its 2022 impact report.

Tesla Europe sales lowest in 15 months
Tesla Inc got off to a sluggish start to the second quarter in Europe, where Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk was expecting a much better showing than the first few months of the year. The carmaker registered just 13,951 vehicles in April, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association said Wednesday, down 2.3% from a year ago and its worst tally since January 2023. Tesla's result was an exception in an otherwise encouraging month for battery-electric vehicle sales, which rose 14% industrywide.
