Trump's anger is getting out of control as his chances plummet in poll after poll
Kamala Harris surpassed Donald Trump in popularity and she took a lead in most of the opinion polls held since Joe Biden pulled out endorsing her last month, the advisers and top aides of the Republican candidates are upset with his public appearances, reports 'The Beast'. The Trump campaign team is getting increasingly anxious about his public meetings that are going from bad to worse. The aides who were very happy after Donald Trump emerged as a hero after the failed assassination attempt at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee are now upset. The main change in his behavior is his increasing anger perhaps due to the Democrats’ resurgence that came out first when he used derogatory words against Kamala Harris. He questioned the Black identity of the first black vice president of the US at a gathering of the National Association of Black Journalists. The last three weeks have been worse for Donald Trump; here's why
Donald Trump as he has committed many avoidable mistakes one after the other despite warnings by his team. Consequently, his allies and donors are upset, his campaign team is frustrated and his closest aides find it difficult to turn the tide in his favor. According to 'The New York Times', at a dinner hosted by Howard Lutnick, the Cantor Fitzgerald Chief Executive at at the Bridgehampton on August 2, the Republican candidate said, “We’ve got to stop the steal,” reviving his false claims about the 2020 election. More than 130 guests present at the dinner were shocked as Trump's advisers had urged him to drop this issue because they wouldn't help him with swing voters.

Advisors should ride the high and invest in cannabis, expert says
The November election is still months away but with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz recently named as Kamala Harris’ political partner, the future of drug policy looks bright. As do the formerly “risky” investments and alternative sources of capital retention, like cannabis.

Elon Musk to interview Donald Trump on his social media network X
Elon Musk is due to interview Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on the X social media network on Monday in an event that could inject more surprises into the turbulent U.S. presidential election. The interview, scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern Time (0000 Tuesday GMT), could provide the former president an opportunity to seize the limelight at a time when his campaign is seen as sagging. His Democratic rival for the Nov. 5 election, Vice President Kamala Harris, has erased Trump's lead in opinion polls and energized Democratic voters with a series of high-energy rallies.

Trump reportedly used a slur against Kamala Harris in private conversations
Trump reportedly has used a slur often targeted at women to describe Vice President Kamala Harris during at least two private conversations. His campaign denies it. The New York Times cited two people who, on different occasions, heard Trump call Harris a «b--.» The people were granted anonymity to describe private discussions. In response, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said, «That is not language President Trump has used to describe Kamala and it's not how the campaign would characterize her.» Trump, a Republican, has a history of making derogatory statements about women and his political opponents. He has called Harris, the Democrats' presidential candidate, and other women, including 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, «nasty,» and he bragged about grabbing women's genitalia in the infamous «Access Hollywood» tape.

Want to build an international order where China can be checked: Vance
China as both a competitor and an adversary, Republican vice presidential nominee Senator J D Vance said on Sunday that his party wants to establish a robust international framework where the US can «check» Beijing. «I think they're both, right, and I think that what we want to do here is build the kind of international order where we can check China,» Vance told CBS in an interview when asked if he views Beijing as a competitor or an adversary. «We don't want to go to war with China, but certainly they're an adversary...for example, the Chinese know that they're manufacturing tons of fentanyl, they're letting them come into our country. (Vice president and Democratic presidential candidate) Kamala Harris has done nothing about this,» Vance said in «Face the Nation» programme. He said Harris should apply diplomatic and economic leverage on the Chinese to stop manufacturing fentanyl, which is smuggled into the Mexican drug cartels and subsequently shipped into the US.

Kamala Harris says she supports eliminating taxes on tips, like Trump
Kamala Harris told supporters in Nevada on Saturday she supported eliminating taxes on tips, taking a similar position to her rival Donald Trump in an effort to win over service workers, an important constituency in the state. Harris and her Democratic running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, wrapped up a multi-day tour of battleground states on Saturday with their stop in Nevada, a western state that could play a pivotal role in the Nov. 5 presidential election. «It is my promise to everyone here when I am president we will continue to fight for working families, including to raise the minimum wage and eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers,» Harris said.
