domestic passenger vehicles sales at 48,048 units in March, as compared to 40,631 units in the same month last year. For the fiscal 2024-25, the total domestic passenger vehicles (PV) sales were at 5,51,487 units, as against 4,59,877 units in 2023-24, a growth of 20 per cent, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) said in a statement. The company said its overall PV sales in March was at 50,835 units, including exports. The domestic sales for commercial vehicles stood at 23,951 units last month, it added.

M&M shares jumped as much as 5.15% to a new high of ₹2,169.25 apiece on the BSE. The auto major launched the XUV 3XO with prices starting from ₹7.49 lakh for the base MX1 variant. The new compact SUV is likely to compete with the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Maruti Suzuki Brezza in a highly contested market segment.

Mahindra & Mahindra: The Indian automaker has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding with Adani Total Energies E-Mobility to establish an electric vehicle charging network throughout India. This collaboration will also enable the automaker to introduce e-mobility solutions, ensuring consumer access to the charging infrastructure. Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd, said this collaboration is crucial in improving the EV charging infrastructure and providing customers with seamless access to the charging network and digital integration for an unmatched EV experience.

M&M’s total domestic Passenger Vehicles (PV) sales in December 2023 rose 24% to 35,174 units from 28,445 units in December 2022. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M), the automobile major, on Wednesday reported total auto sales for the month of October 2023 at 80,679 vehicles, a growth of 32% from 61,114 units in the same month last year. M&M’s domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales in October 2023 rose 35% to 43,708 units from 32,298 units in October 2022.

In the Utility Vehicles segment, Mahindra sold its highest-ever SUVs of 37,270 vehicles in the month, in the domestic market, and overall, 38,164 vehicles, including exports. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles stood at 23,613 units. «We are excited to witness another record month, as we clocked our highest-ever SUV domestic sales of 37,270 in a month with a growth of 26%,» said Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Division, M&M. Nakra said that while demand for the company's key SUV brands continued to be strong, they are keeping a close watch on the availability of semi-conductors and select parts, for sustained and smooth scaleup. The company's farm equipment sector said that the tractor sales in domestic market in August 2023 stood at 20,647 units, as against 20,138 units during August 2022. Meanwhile, the total tractor sales including exports stood at 21,676 units, as against 21,520 units for the same period last year.

Mahindra said. The development comes days after Mahindra & Mahindra announced the highest-ever SUV sales in July 2023 when the company sold 36,205 vehicles with a 30% growth during the corresponding month last year.

Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday said it aims to bolster its presence globally as it unveiled a pickup concept, which it plans to introduce in the international markets. The auto major, which also showcased the electric version of its sports utility vehicle Thar, noted that it plans to sell its Born Electric (BE) products in markets like Europe and the UK. SUV factory in Chakan near Pune which will have a capacity to manufacture around 200,000 electric Sport Utility Vehicle(SUVs) a year. The plant is likely to be ready by next year. The company is also planning to create a battery assembly plant to supply batteries to electric vehicles.

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) said that its domestic sales of utility vehicles were at 32,585 units last month, as against 26,620 units in the year-ago period, a growth of 22 per cent. "With strong demand for the SUV portfolio, we have continued our growth trend with domestic sales of 32,585 units and 22 per cent growth in June," M&M Ltd President, Automotive Division Veejay Nakra said. He stated that the SUV volumes were restricted by a short-term disruption in engine-related parts at the supplier end.

NFTs are at the forefront of blockchain technology, and have captured the interest of the digitally savvy and constantly connected generation. Mahindra's initial NFT offerings, to be based on its iconic Thar vehicle, will be released in collaboration with Tech Mahindra.
