The NCPCR had challenged last year's order of the Punjab and Haryana High Court which said that a minor Muslim girl can marry a person of her choice. The apex court on Friday sought the Centre's response on the issue. The plea of NGO, besides seeking a slew of directions and guidelines, has also sought a directive to the courts to refrain from making observations regarding the minor victim's casual relationship and promiscuous attitude while dealing with the criminal proceedings under the POCSO Act.

The price of XRP gained more than 4% in the past three days, according to data from CoinMarketCap. During the last seven days,XRP traded for as high as $0.503 before dropping to its current level of $0.493.

The two parties have locked horns again in the XRP Lawsuit. Ripple’s legal team has objected to the SEC’s take on the Chamber of Digital Commerce amicus briefs. Ripple condemned the SEC’s behavior about requesting the Court for additional time or pages for additional amici curiae to submit briefs.

The SEC and Ripple legal teams recently submitted their respective Motion for Summary Judgements to the court. Since then, they have been battling on an old front.
