The SME company has announced price band of the book build issue at ₹87 to ₹92 per equity share. As per the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) of the public issue, the Cellecor Gadgets Limited IPO has been proposed for listing on NSE SME exchange and the company aims to raise 50.77 crore from its initial offer.

EMS IPO: The initial public offering (IPO) of EMS Limited has opened today and the public issue will remain open for bidding till 12th September 2023. The book build issue aims to raise ₹321.24 crore from its initial offer. The water treatment and waste water management company has fixed EMS IPO price band at ₹200 to ₹211 per equity share.

Day trading guide for today: Amid weak global market cues, Dalal Street ended higher on fifth day in a row on Thursday. NSE Nifty finished 116 points higher at 19,727 levels, BSE Sensex ended 385 points north at 66,265 mark whereas Bank Nifty gained 469 points and closed at 44,878 levels. In broad market, small-cap index ended 0.40 per cent higher after climbing to a new peak of 38,169.65 levels.

While the price of vegetarian thali declined 0.6% sequentially to Rs 33.8 in August from Rs 34 in the previous month, non-vegetarian thali prices were down 30 paise to Rs 67.3. “Of the 24% rise in the vegetarian thali cost, 21% can be attributed solely to the price of tomato, which rose 176% on-year to Rs 102/kg in the month vs Rs 37/kg a year ago,” the rating agency stated in its report released on Thursday. The thali prices indicate that there would be little respite from inflation in August. Experts indicate that inflation will stay above the 7% mark for the second consecutive month.

Giles Broadbent has passed away at the age of 51. His family revealed in a statement on Thursday, September 7 that he had died after a «short illness». Giles Broadbent was a member of the band Stringfever. Not only for the band, Broadbent was famous for leading orchestras at West End. He had led acclaimed shows such as Sunset Boulevard, Phantom of the Opera and My Fair Lady, to name a few. The four member band Stringfever was formed in 2003 with Broadbent's younger brothers, Ralph and Neal, and their cousin Graham. «Although Giles had not been well recently, we as a family are still in shock at his passing,» said his family in a statement shared on Instagram. Broadbent had studied at the Royal Academy of Music. In 2015, Ralph and he were awarded the prestigious title of 'Associate of the Royal Academy of Music' or ARAM.

The company received approval from Sebi in the last week of August. The fresh issue size in the offer has been reduced to Rs 180 crore from Rs 225 crore earlier. The IPO also includes an offer for sale (OFS) segment of up to 1.72 crore equity shares.

₹542 crore and offer for sale (OFS) portion consists of 44.5 lakh shares of ₹10, which aggregates to ₹869.08 crore sold by promoter selling shareholder Devang Vasantlal Gandhi, and Neeta Gandhi. Jupiter Lifeline Hospitals IPO total issue size is ₹869.08 crores. The net proceeds from the fresh issue will be utilised to repay debt availed from banks by the company and material subsidiary, and to meet general corporate purposes.

Nifty are up nearly 2 per cent in September so far. While the sentiment seems to have slightly improved, the market has to deal with many headwinds in the short term. The risk of inflation is not gone, interest rates are high and central banks have been saying they can still raise rates.
