NCLAT reserves order on IDBI, Axis Bank pleas against Zee-Sony merger
IDBI Bank and Axis Bank challenging the Zee-Sony merger which has been called off. The appellate tribunal will decide on 15 April whether the challenges to legal sanction of the Zee-Sony merger could be heard when the merger itself has been called off. IDBI Bank and Axis Bank had urged NCLAT to defer the pending case until the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) decides on Zee's plea to enforce the merger.

Nvidia supplier SK Hynix to invest $3.87 billion in US chip packaging plant
SK Hynix, the world's second-largest memory chip maker, said on Wednesday it will invest around $3.87 billion to build an advanced packaging plant and research and development facility for AI products in the U.S. state of Indiana. The new plant will include an advanced chip production line to mass-produce next-generation high bandwidth memory (HBM) chips, currently used in graphic processing units that train artificial intelligence systems, the Nvidia supplier said in a statement.

SWAMIH I) and realty credit fund Nisus Finance have invested a total over Rs 465 crore across two projects of Aliens Developers. One of the projects, Aliens HUB, is a large scale plotted development project and the second project, Aliens Space Station, is a mega mid-income housing project, both located in key micro markets of Hyderabad. Shirdi Sai Electricals makes Rs 15k-cr initial investment to set up solar cell to module unit
Shirdi Sai Electricals Limited will make an initial investment of Rs 15,000 crore to build an integrated solar cell to module manufacturing facility at Ramayapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, its CEO Sharat Chandra said on Wednesday. The investments in the first phase are being made through subsidiary Indosol Solar to set up 5 gigawatts (GW) of moduleS, 5 GW wafers, 5 GW ingot and 5 GW glass capacities, he told PTI over the phone. «We have started the production of the module from Sunday (March 31). We call it Phase 1A, which is part of Phase 1. Initially, we started 500 MW module manufacturing by investing Rs 1,300 crore. The entire phase-1 (comprising 500 MW each of module, cell, wafer, and ingot) will be completed by 2025. Additionally, a manufacturing capacity of 5 GW of Glass, a raw material product, will also be set up,» he said The entire project is of 30 GW upstream capacity. It is part of the government's PLI scheme for the solar industry, Chandra said without sharing the entire project cost.
