NEW DELHI : Hero MotoCorp on Monday stepped into India’s ballooning market for premium lifestyle motorcycles with the launch of Harley Davidson X440, a fully indigenized 440cc motorcycle it has co-created with the Milwaukee-based cult motorbike maker. The motorcycle comes at an aggressive starting price of ₹2.29 lakh ex-showroom, pricing that makes it a disruptive proposition given that it brings the cult brand within reach of the aspirational premium buyer.

Torrent Power on Monday said it has started work on a Green Hydrogen pilot project for blending with natural gas in the city gas distribution (CGD) network. The pilot project, based on Alkaline Electrolyzer and expected to complete in 8 months, will blend ~2.5% GH2 into CGD network, marking an important milestone in the company's foray into GH2 business in India.

Bajaj Auto's domestic sales of its electric scooter Chetak grew over four-fold to 36,260 units in FY23, with the easing of global semiconductor shortage, according to the company's latest annual report. New Delhi: Torrent Group’s integrated power utility, Torrent Power Limited has embarked on a path-breaking initiative aimed at a greener future by commencing work on a pilot project for blending green hydrogen (GH2) with natural gas in its city gas distribution (CGD) network.  The project, slated for completion within eight months, represents a significant stride in Torrent Power’s foray into the GH2 business in India, underlining its commitment to fostering a cleaner and more sustainable energy mix. “The ambitious pilot project, utilizing an Alkaline Electrolyzer, aims to blend approximately 2.5% GH2 into the CGD network, positioning it as one of the most substantial private sector blending initiatives in the country," the company said in a press release.
