Jefferies has released a list of 11 stocks that it believes can deliver 15-25% CAGR over the next five years. Stocks with the highest upside include Macrotech, Axis Bank, Max Healthcare and Amber.

In a roll-down approach, a fund maintains a portfolio of bonds that all mature at the same future date. As the maturity date draws nearer, the tenure for which the fund holds bonds reduces (rolls down). Any fresh bond purchases are also aligned with the remaining maturity of the portfolio. This practice makes returns from a bond portfolio relatively predictable in a volatile interest rate scenario. It was a particularly sought-after tactic in categories like corporate bond funds and banking & PSU bond funds. Unlike the typical open-ended funds, where the fund manager actively shifts the duration profile of the portfolio as per the given mandate, the passive investing approach of the rolldown strategy provides a degree of predictability in returns amidst interest rate fluctuations.

Arvind Kejriwal government has notified Delhi Solar Policy, 2023, that will help the consumers with monthly use of over 400 units to get zero bills through rooftop solar plants, a statement on Saturday said. Under the policy, the consumers who do not get subsidy for using more than 400 units per month can now install rooftop solar panels and get zero bills. The power bills of commercial users will be halved if they go for rooftop plants, said the statement of Delhi government. Currently, domestic consumers receive zero bills up to 200 units monthly consumption while monthly consumption 50 percent subsidy is given for 201-400 units.

market regulator on Friday deferred a full launch of optional same day settlements, according to a press release. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said that same day settlement, or T+0, would be launched for only 25 stocks and with a limited set of brokers to test the efficacy of a shorter settlement cycle.
