The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has given the go-ahead to a new crypto proposal. According to it, cryptocurrency firms will have a harder time serving as digital asset custodians in the country.

The German exchange says it aims to expand these capabilities to further asset classes over time. Additionally, the two companies plan to jointly deploy a data mesh for several of Deutsche Börse Group’s data distribution and data use cases in the cloud. Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, comments: “Our partnership with Deutsche Börse Group underscores the wide range of opportunities and benefits that secure and reliable cloud technology, data analytics, and AI can have for all market participants.”

Pro-crypto trade group Blockchain Association has addressed the recent crackdown on crypto firms by multiple United States regulators. Jake Chervinsky, the Chief Legal Officer of the Blockchain Association, took to Twitter on 14 February to share his thoughts on the mounting enforcement actions against the digital asset industry.
