Sandeep Dikshit clarified that the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was «never in question», responding to discussions about the possibility of an alliance. Speaking to on Sunday, Dikshit stated, «The alliance was never in question. The AAP kept launching the idea because they feared losing if they fought alone. But it is good that the alliance did not happen.» He went on to slam Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's leadership over the past decade, claiming it has led to the breakdown of the city's systems. «In the last 10 years, he (Arvind Kejriwal) has brought Delhi to a place where all the system has collapsed. "What happened in past is history, let historians debate it": Shashi Tharoor on PM Modi's speech in Parliament
Shashi Tharoor on Sunday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech in Parliament, urging him to focus on addressing present challenges rather than dwelling on the past. «The answer was already given the previous day by Priyanka Gandhi. Why go on about the past? You are accountable for the present and what is happening today and tomorrow. What happened in the past is history; let historians debate it,» Tharoor said. «Even though I have written extensively about these issues, I am not entering that debate because, for me, the government is responsible for the condition of Indians today, the functioning of the Constitution today, and the future of our youth. While I am impressed by the list of initiatives he mentioned, he always omits the negatives we have been pointing out,» the Congress MP added.

IPO markets emerging as exit routes for startup investors amid evolving ecosystem
Indian startup ecosystem has undergone a dynamic evolution over the past decade, with major changes reshaping how private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) firms strategise their exits from startups. Traditionally, Indian stock markets were perceived as places for large, established companies to list and raise capital. However, they are now offering diverse opportunities for new-age startups to tap into public funding and provide impressive exits for early backers and investors, such as angel investors and venture capital firms. The surge in exit activity via the public markets is a testament to this transformation, shaping exits in ways that have profound implications for Indian PE-VC strategies.

Suchi Semicon begins chip plant without Centre's incentive, plans $100 million investment in 3 years
Suchi Semicon has started production of semiconductors without the Centre's incentive and plans to invest $100 million in three years, a top official of the company said on Sunday. Suchi Group chairman and Suchi Semicon founder Ashok Mehta said though the company has applied for the Centre's incentive under SPECS (Scheme for Promotion of Manufacturing of Electronic Components and Semiconductors) and India Semiconductor Mission, it does not want to hold on to production for the sake of incentives. «We have a foolproof business plan.
