UFO Footage: US Congressman makes shocking claims. Details here
Congressman Rep. Tim Burchett from Tennessee has issued a concerning statement about classified UFO footage that he claimed to have witnessed. Burchett said that the UFO footage hasn't been made public. During an appearance on the «Event Horizon» podcast, Burchett, who serves on the House Oversight Committee, expressed his speculation that extraterrestrial life forms might possess technology beyond humanity's capabilities to handle, as per a FOX report. The House Oversight Committee had previously conducted hearings regarding potential threats posed by unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), the government's term for UFOs. Burchett's remarks followed the emergence of whistleblower David Grusch, a respected Air Force veteran, who made claims about a secret UFO retrieval program operated by the government. In response to Grusch's unverified assertions, the House Oversight Committee is planning a hearing to discuss the matter. Rep. Burchett, along with fellow Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, will lead the committee's investigation into these claims. The Department of Defense spokesperson, Susan Gough, previously stated in an email to Fox News Digital on June 6 that there is no substantiated information to support these claims. Regarding UFO investigations, the Pentagon houses the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), a specialized department responsible for examining UFOs. Simultaneously, NASA is also conducting its own investigation into UFOs, operating independently but in parallel with AARO. Both NASA and AARO are expected to release separate reports on their findings during the upcoming summer.

How Japan’s regulatory moves in Web3 can be an example for nations globally
Japan with a vibrant crypto scent — but Japan is one of the many countries that took a proactive approach towards fostering Web3 after realizing its potential worldwide. In order to retain its talent at home and create a better infrastructure for adoption of virtual digital assets, Japan has undertaken a number of regulatory steps. Amid the global turmoil caused by the volatile crypto ecosystem and its consequential effects on users, Japan has proactively introduced preemptive measures to tackle these challenges and maintain a competitive edge. From the very beginning, it supported builders and creators in Web3 suggesting that the country is enthusiastic about the growing ecosystem and it was not just due to a vast user base. It has been tweaking regulations on a rolling basis to address challenges faced by users or other stakeholders and working towards the best interest for all parties with a dedicated ‘resolution team’. Its progressive attitude towards integration of blockchain is what has made it stand apart. From government backed Metaverse offices, to corporates like Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Rakuten foraying in the space, Japan’s efforts reflect the concentrated approach at winning the Web3 revolution after the missed opportunity in Web2.

ChatGPT Comes Under Investigation by Federal Trade Commission
The Federal Trade Commission is investigating whether OpenAI’s ChatGPT has harmed people by publishing false information about them, posing a potential legal threat to the popular app that can generate eerily human-like content using artificial intelligence. In a civil subpoena to the company made public Thursday, the FTC says its investigation of ChatGPT focuses on whether OpenAI has “engaged in unfair or deceptive practices relating to risks of harm to consumers, including reputational harm." One question asks the company to “describe in detail the extent to which you have taken steps to address or mitigate risks that your large language model products could generate statements about real individuals that are false, misleading or disparaging." The new FTC investigation under Chair Lina Khan marks a significant escalation of the federal government’s role in policing the emerging technology.
