(Reuters) — Agilent Technologies (NYSE:A) on Wednesday named Padraig McDonnell as its next chief executive officer, effective May 1, succeeding Mike McMullen.

Wipro Ltd on Wednesday disclosed a new deal with US chipmaker, Intel Foundry. The deal with the chip development division of Intel will further see Wipro engineers work on Intel’s latest ‘18A’ chip node that will be used in cutting-edge consumer electronics devices next year onward. Though Wipro did not disclose the exact size of the deal, two senior industry consultants said under conditions of anonymity that the deal with Intel Foundry is expected to be one of Wipro’s largest deal signings in the past three years.

Mark Zuckerberg is planning to visit South Korea and is scheduling key meetings during his trip, Meta said in a statement on Wednesday without elaborating. Zuckerberg is expected to meet Samsung Electronics chairman Jay Y Lee as early as later this month to discuss AI chip supply and other generative AI issues, South Korean newspaper Seoul Economic Daily reported earlier on Wednesday, citing unnamed sources with knowledge of the matter.

He also said that the RBI’s regulatory action on Paytm Payments Bank has drawn the attention of fintech firms to the importance of complying with the laws.
