Indian Space Research Organisation successfully performed the first orbit-raising manoeuvre of the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on Saturday, the space agency said. The health of the spacecraft was «normal», ISRO said in a social media post. Chandrayaan-3 is now in an orbit, which when closest to Earth is at 173 kilometres and farthest from Earth is at 41,762 km.

Warner Bros and ABC are extremely optimistic, and they are betting big on soon- the to-hit reality television show- ‘The Golden Bachelor’. It is a spin-off of the reality dating series ‘The Bachelors’. The show follows an old man who is single and has s second shot at love and a long-time relationship. The contestants of the show are women with enough experience and ones who go through love, life, and loss and yearn for a life that is hope and endless possibilities and opportunities. The lead actor of the show has not been announced, but ABC has said that it will be declared on July 17. The show will have its premiere in the fall, most probably in September and it will be aired every Monday.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Saturday said that heavy to very heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh is likely to continue during the next four days, and decrease thereafter. The IMD also said that active monsoon conditions are likely to prevail in central and east India during the next five days. In a statement on Saturday, the IMD said that in the northwest region of the country, there will be widespread rainfall accompanied by heavy to very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning. «This weather pattern is expected to continue over Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, with isolated heavy rainfall likely over Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan for the next four days. On July 17, Uttarakhand may experience isolated extremely heavy rainfall,» it said. Moving to the eastern and northeastern parts of India, there will be fairly widespread to widespread rainfall.

Narendra Modi's visit to France, New Delhi, and Paris signed an MoU to fabricate submarine and surface combatants and parts in Mumbai and Kolkata respectively for export. The move will boost PM Modi’s “Make in India" initiative as Mazagon Dockyards Limited will jointly develop and manufacture Scorpene class submarines with French Naval Group for a third country. In addition to this, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd.
