After an incomplete pass on first down, the Buckeyes went to a running play with 3 seconds left took advantage of an overloaded defense to one side and what appeared to be only 10 defenders on the field for the Fighting Irish. Ohio State coach Ryan Day was fired up when it was over, going off on former Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz, who called out the Buckeyes toughness in predicting a Fighting Irish victory earlier in the week. “I’d like to know where Lou Holtz is right now,” Day said during a postgame interview with NBC. “What he said about our team, I cannot believe. Russian foreign minister lambastes the West but barely mentions Ukraine in UN speech
Russia's top diplomat denounced the United States and the West on Saturday as self-interested defenders of a fading international power structure, but he didn't discuss his country's war in Ukraine in his speech to the UN General Assembly. «The US and its subordinate Western collective are continuing to fuel conflicts which artificially divide humanity into hostile blocks and hamper the achievement of overall aims. They're doing everything they can to prevent the formation of a genuine multipolar world order,» Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said. «They are trying to force the world to play according to their own self-centered rules,» he said. As for the 19-month war in Ukraine, he recapped some historical complaints going back to the 1991 breakup of the Soviet Union, and alluded to the billions of dollars that the US and Western allies have spent in supporting Ukraine.

This is hardly surprising as most fatalities of the violence are by sniper rifles on both sides. According to retired Lt. Gen LN Singh the violence in Manipur, in its initial phase, was community-based mob violence. The General, who once headed the Indian Army’s Intelligence Corps, revealed that the quality of violence has degenerated as terrorists have taken over as the guns are targeting unarmed civilians which is unacceptable. “There is a distinction between terrorist, insurgent and militant.

Why PM afraid of caste census: Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi on Saturday advocated conducting a caste census and asked why was Prime Minister Narendra Modi «afraid» of it. Addressing a party workers' conference here, Gandhi also claimed that the special session of Parliament was called to change the name of India to Bharat, but instead the women's reservation bill was introduced. The Congress leader said the Women's Reservation Bill can be implemented in Parliament and Assemblies today itself, but the central government wants to postpone it for 10 years on the pretext of delimitation and new census. He said the Congress wants women's reservation to be implemented today itself. «If we talk about giving participation to OBCs, then it cannot be done without caste census. So the prime minister talks about OBCs 24 hours a day.
