According to a report by PTI, the registration process for these flats commenced on November 30, with the e-auction officially commencing on Friday. “In today's e-auction, a total 274 flats were booked, including 129 MIG flats, 138 super HIG flats and seven penthouses," a senior official said, PTI reported.

It further said individual housing loan disbursements during the half year ended September 2024 were Rs 4.10 lakh crore while disbursements during the year ended March 2024 were Rs 9.07 lakh crore. The report broadly covers the housing scenario and house price movements, flagship programmes of GoI in the housing sector, role of Primary Lending Institutions (PLIs) in providing housing credit, performance of Housing Finance Companies (HFCs) and outlook for the sector. «Major initiatives of GoI, such as PMAY-G, PMAY-U, impact assessment of PMAY-U, Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF), Affordable Rental Housing Complexes (ARHC) scheme, etc. have been covered in the report,» it said.

Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday announced that the film 'The Sabarmati Report' will be exempted from entertainment tax across the state. Uttarakhand is the seventh BJP-ruled state to have made the film tax-free after Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. The film, directed by Dheeraj Saran, is based on the 2002 Godhra riots and was released in cinemas on November 15. It stars Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra in pivotal roles. Dhami watched the film with his cabinet colleagues, other MPs and MLAs. He said, «59 Ram devotees boarded the Sabarmati Express train from Ayodhya and it was set on fire at Godhra station. EWS flats were sold out in DDA's Sasta Ghar and Madhyam Vargiya Housing schemes, an official statement said on Saturday. In Ramgarh, out of 183 LIG flats in the scheme, 153 flats were sold, it said. While 708 LIG flats were sold in Rohini and around 250 flats were booked in Narela. Among the EWS segment, around 300 flats were sold out in Narela and all 139 flats offered in Loknayakpuram were also booked, it said. Since the first day of the booking on September 10, the scheme has received an impressive response with all HIG flats offered at Jasola being sold out on Day 1, the statement said.

DDA Housing Scheme Online 2024: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) started the third phase of e-auction of its luxury apartments on March 5. These include penthouses in Dwarka sector 19B. The registrations for the e-auction began on February 28. The first round of e-auction was for 296 apartments on January 5, in which 274 apartments were booked. In the second round of e-auction, 707 apartments were up for grabs when it was conducted on February 5.
