Litecoin (LTC) has seen a sharp intraday drop in tandem with the broader cryptocurrency market on Monday, with sell pressure triggered by news that the SEC is suing Binance, Binance.US and the exchange’s founder Changpeng Zhou (CZ) over offering unregistered securities to the general public in the US, as well as a host of other charges.

After rising for four successive months, Bitcoin (BTC) is on track to end May with losses of about 7%. Inexperienced traders usually chase prices higher during the end of the bull phase as they fear missing out on the rally. However, institutional investors tend to wait for the froth to settle before entering. Bitcoin’s (BTC) bear market in 2022 ended the hype that was seen in 2021.
