Wall Street stocks ended lower on Tuesday as Oracle shares tumbled more than 13% after a weak forecast and surging oil prices deepened worries about persistent price pressures ahead of crucial inflation readings this week.Oracle shares dived to their lowest since June after the cloud-services provider forecast current-quarter revenue below targets and narrowly missed first-quarter expectations. Cloud-computing heavyweights Amazon.com and Microsoft each fell more than 1%, pressured by Oracle's weak forecast and by a rise in U.S. Treasury yields. Oil prices jumped more than 1%, building on a recent rally and stoking worries that sticky inflation could mean U.S.

Information Technology companies such as TCS and Infosys firmed up in Tuesday's trading, bucking the broader weakness in the market, as investors and traders perceive these shares as defensive bets if sentiment sours further. The Nifty IT Index jumped 1% on Tuesday, while the benchmark Nifty ended almost flat.

Nifty up more than 70 points from Monday's close on Nifty Futures and tracking positive global cues. Asian stock markets slid sideways, while the US stock market indices ended higher overnight. On Monday, Nifty and Sensex ended in the green for the sixth day in a row, each one gaining nearly 3%.

₹ 2,069.50 crore into RRVL, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited. This investment values RRVL at a pre-money equity value of ₹ 8.361 lakh crore, which makes it among the top four companies by equity value in the country.KKR’s follow-on investment will translate into an additional equity stake of 0.25% in RRVL on a fully diluted basis. This, combined with its stake from its investment of ₹ 5,550 crore in RRVL in 2020, will take its total equity stake in RRVL to 1.42% on a fully diluted basis.

Investing.com — U.S. stocks were rising on hopes the Federal Reserve will leave rates unchanged when it meets this month, as investors anticipate nearing the end of its interest rate increases.

S&P 500 (SPX) fell 1.3% last week after previously recording two consecutive weekly green candles. Nasdaq Composite Index (IXIC) dropped nearly 2% as investors were adding value amid fears that the Federal Reserve will keep higher interest rates for longer.

Indian stock market is set for a muted opening on Monday amid mixed cues from global peers. The NSE IX's GIFT Nifty moved 7.5 points, or 0.04%, muted at 19,930.50. Asian equities were trading lower amid a lack of favourable cues, while the US stock market closed higher on Friday due to the long-term outlook of the domestic economy and as investors await the crucial US inflation statistics anticipated this week.

Similarly, US largecaps are trading at 20 times trailing earnings and so not very cheap.
