State-owned UCO Bank has reported a technical glitch in some Immediate Payment Service(IMPS) transactions due to which transactions done by account holders of other banks came into account holders of the bank. “During the period from 10.11.2023 to 13.11.2023, technical issue in Immediate Payment Service(IMPS), certain transaction(s) initiated by holders of other banks have resulted in credit to the account holders in our Bank without actual receipt of money from these banks," UCO Bank informed in an exchange filing on Wednesday ( 15 November) The bank says it is taking a precautionary measure, it has made the IMPS channel offline & is closely following up with stakeholders to resolve the issue and restore the IMPS services at the earliest. The matter has also been reported to the law enforcement agencies for necessary action, it added.

oil markets won't be as tight as expected this quarter, as upward revisions to demand are outpaced by upgrades to supplies, the International Energy Agency said. The IEA boosted forecasts for world fuel consumption this year on surprising strength in China, and still anticipates a supply shortfall during the fourth quarter. Investing.com-- Oil prices rose slightly in Asian trade on Tuesday, extending gains after a report from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries helped ease some concerns over slowing demand.

Gold prices were stuck in a narrow range on Tuesday as investors refrained from taking big positions ahead of U.S. inflation data that could offer more clarity on whether the Federal Reserve is likely to raise interest rates further. Spot gold was flat at $1,945.45 per ounce, as of 0303 GMT.

Amazon.com has cut around 180 jobs in its games division, at least the second round of layoffs in under a week by the online retailer and digital streaming provider in a broader restructuring, an email viewed on Monday by Reuters showed. «After our initial restructuring in April, it became clear that we needed to focus our resources even more on the areas that are growing with the highest potential to drive our business forward,» said Christoph Hartmann, vice president of Amazon Games, in the Nov. 13 email.
