IHCL) has partnered with Merlin Group to open a new resort near Joka on Diamond Harbour Road, Kolkata. IBIZA – an IHCL SeleQtions will have 130 keys, including eight suites, spread over 11 acres in Kriparampur, a popular tourist destination. The property will also boast a 5,400 sq. ft. ballroom, conference halls, pre-function areas, meeting rooms and scenic outdoor venues. “The existing resort will be refurbished and expanded under a new brand, with plans to open in October 2025. A total investment of Rs 60 crore will be infused for the planned expansion,” said Sushil Mohta, Chairman of Merlin Group, hinting the company may look at more assets with IHCL.
