Digital healthcare platform provider MediBuddy on Wednesday said it has raised additional funding of $18 million from existing investors Quadria Capital, Lightrock and TEAMFund. MediBuddy offers online and offline doctor consultations, medicine delivery, lab tests at home, mental health consultations, surgery care among other healthcare services. Founder and CEO Satish Kannan said MediBuddy has been growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 95.5% over the past three years.

Biocon Biologics is on track to integrate a major part of the acquired biosimilars business of long-term partner Viatris in the current fiscal, the company's Executive Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw has said. Biocon Biologics, a unit of the Bengaluru-based biotechnology major, had announced earlier this year that it has completed the integration of the acquired biosimilars business from Viatris in over 70 countries in emerging markets effective July 1, 2023. Now, it is looking to integrate the acquired biosimilars business in the remaining markets like North America and Europe. «We are on track to integrate a major part of the acquired business in a phased manner during FY24,» Mazumdar-Shaw said in her address to the company's shareholders in the Annual Report for 2022-23, which was released on Wednesday. Direct commercial presence in many global markets will allow Biocon Biologics to devise more sustainable and targeted strategies to make biosimilars accessible to the maximum number of patients and healthcare providers, she added.

Journey or line utilisation is calculated by the number of corridors passengers use to reach their destinations. «Delhi Metro's mission of providing a comfortable journey to its commuters is scaling new heights every day and as a result Delhi Metro once again set a new milestone on 29th August 2023 when more than 69 lakh passenger journeys were performed in the metro in a single day,» the DMRC said in a post on 'X', formerly known as Twitter. Before Monday, the highest passenger journey count was 66,18,717, recorded on February 10, 2020, just before the pandemic disrupted travel patterns and routines. Of the total journeys recorded Tuesday, the Red Line accounted for 7,65,059 journeys, Yellow Line — 19,11,239, Blue Line — 14,90,171, and Airport Express Line — 61,041, among other corridors, according to data shared by the DMRC.
