Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, Dhanashree Verma, details of their divorce have come out, ending speculations and rubbishing rumours. The primary contention in the Family Court ruling was the partial compliance with the consent terms, particularly regarding alimony. As per the agreement, Chahal had agreed to pay a permanent alimony of Rs 4.75 crore to Verma, of which Rs 2.37 crore had already been paid, Bar & Bench reported. The Family Court viewed the non-payment of the remaining amount as non-compliance, leading to the rejection of the waiver plea. Also Read: Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's divorce petition to be decided tomorrow The Bombay High Court, however, noted that the couple had been living apart for over two and a half years and ruled in favour of waiving the cooling-off period. Oracle said on Wednesday it would provide Singapore's defense technology arm with «isolated» cloud computing and AI services, in the company's first such deal in Southeast Asia. Southeast Asian governments are frequent targets of cyber espionage campaigns and are facing escalating supply chain attacks, according to security researchers. Under the deal, the US firm will provide Singapore's armed forces and defense ministry with an «air-gapped» isolated cloud computing infrastructure — meaning that it will be cut off from the internet and connected instead to classified networks via encrypted devices.

Cancer risk for US astronauts Butch Wilmore, Sunita Williams? What we know so far
US astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams prepare to return home after nine months aboard the International Space Station (ISS), some of the health risks they've faced are well-documented and managed, while others remain a mystery, as per a report. Bone and muscle deterioration, radiation exposure, vision impairment — these are just a few of the challenges space travelers face on long-duration missions, even before considering the psychological toll of isolation, AFP reported. These dangers will only grow as humanity pushes deeper into the solar system, including to Mars, demanding innovative solutions to safeguard the future of space exploration. 45 Days Will be Crucial Astronauts must attend NASA's 45-day post-mission rehabilitation program. Another challenge is «fluid shift» — the redistribution of bodily fluids toward the head in microgravity. This can increase calcium levels in urine, raising the risk of kidney stones, as per AFP report.

Trump administration reinstating 24,500 fired workers after court order
Trump administration in court filings has for the first time acknowledged that it fired nearly 25,000 recently hired workers, and said agencies were working to bring all of them back after a judge ruled that their terminations were likely illegal. The filings made in Baltimore, Maryland, federal court late Monday include statements from officials at 18 agencies, all of whom said the reinstated probationary workers were being placed on administrative leave at least temporarily. The mass firings, part of President Donald Trump's broader purge of the federal workforce, were widely reported, but the court filings are the first full accounting of the terminations by the administration. Most of the agencies said they had fired a few hundred workers. The Treasury Department terminated about 7,600 people, the Department of Agriculture about 5,700 and the Department of Health and Human Services more than 3,200, according to the filings. U.S. District Judge James Bredar on March 13 said the mass firings of probationary workers that began last month violated regulations governing the mass layoffs of federal employees, and ordered them to be reinstated pending further litigation.

Elon Musk's Starlink may face spectrum tax in India, raising service costs
Starlink is likely to be subjected to a spectrum usage charge (SUC) in India, a levy that had been scrapped for terrestrial network providers such as Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea a few years ago, ToI reported citing sources. If imposed, the tax will increase costs for the Elon Musk-led satellite communications company in India. The potential charge adds to the challenges Starlink is already facing as it negotiates strict compliance mandates related to internet suspension and interception. Sources told ToI, Starlink, which is set to receive telecom airwaves through administrative allocation under the new telecom law passed in December 2023, may have to pay around 3% SUC on its adjusted gross revenue from the country.
